Every year, thousands of Democrats from across the state gather at the California Democratic Party Convention to shape our platform, elect new leadership, and organize for the fights ahead. This year, from May 30 to June 1, California College Democrats will once again be front and center—driving youth power, progressive policy, and bold leadership.

Whether you're a first-time attendee or a seasoned delegate, this weekend is your opportunity to engage with Party leaders, connect with fellow organizers, and ensure student voices are heard loud and clear.

CADEM Statewide Officer Elections (May 31st)

As part of the 2025 CADEM Convention, delegates will participate in the official elections for California Democratic Party Officers and Regional Directors. These elections play a vital role in shaping the leadership and direction of the Party over the next two years. Voting will take place on Saturday, May 31, with runoff elections—if necessary—on Sunday, June 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

All credentialed delegates will receive an electronic ballot by email and text. Voting can be completed using personal devices or at designated voting stations at the convention. The voting window is open from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Saturday. If runoffs are required, they will occur the following morning. Candidate speeches will take place during each Regional Caucus meeting, where delegates can hear directly from those seeking leadership roles and assess their vision for the future of the Party.

This election is a key opportunity for young delegates to make their voices heard and ensure that the leadership of the California Democratic Party reflects the priorities, energy, and values of the next generation.
